About

Willem Heeffer is a Dutch designer based in Helsinki, Finland. He is active in the joint fields of spatial design, product design and photography.

He collaborates with people from different design backgrounds on a variety of projects which often relate to public space and urbanism.His works include product design and interior design, photographic documentation and graphic design, workshops and publications.

Willem graduated in 2004 at the Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands after which he worked for various design companies in Dublin, Ireland. He exhibited “Dublin Flats”, photographs of social housing at the Irish Architectural Archive and this was followed by a publication. In 2011 he moved to Helsinki and worked for clients such as Museum of Finnish Architecture, Aalto University and Linnanmäki amusement park.
Willem provides design consultancy and management services.
